BAKEHOUSE BURNED.

NELSON, last night
A bakehouse at Brightwatcr, belonging to Mr. E. C. Seluoder, was totally destroyed by tire yesterday. The origin as unknown, but it is thought a quantity of firewood drying in an oven preparatory to the night baking, caught alight. A party of Nelson bowlers, including Mr, A. E. Dee, formerly captain of the Nelson Fire Brigade, gave valuable- assistance in preventing the spread of the tire.
