'the competition for the Masonic Cap was continued on the above club’s green yesterday afternoon, and the results of the different games makes the contest very interesting. The two leading rinks (Sawyer and Roderick's) both suffered defeat-, and Martin, scoping a- victory, is in the lead p ith jour wins. Sawyer and Roderick, with three wins each, will contest- their game next Thursday, the winner of same meeting Martin in the final. Following are tho results: Mercer, Williams (sub.), Sim, Martin (skip) 19 defeated Coleman, Leslie, Bollock, Sawyer (skip) 17. Roche (sub.), 0. B. Lane, Atkinson, Prince (skip) 22 defeated Batson, Whitehead, E. Lane, Roderick (.skip) 19. H. Martin, Keaiiy, Mcllroy, Jenkins (skip) 21 defeated Stannard, McCarthy, Cruicksha-nk, Dudfieid (skip) 17.
