ONE MAN DIES. GRASS FIRES NEAR ASHBURTON. ALL DANGER REMOVED. (Per Press Association.' ASHBURTON, this day. Air. William Page, 40, was burned yesterday while assisting in the removal of furniture from llanrahati’s house, threatened by grass tires. He tiled this morning. The deceased was a married man and. leaves four children, whose ages range from 8 to 14 years. He was prominent in sports circles. Mr. P. T. Hanrahan, son of Mr. L. Hanruhan, was also severely burned in the salvage work on the farm owned by his father, lie was admitted to hospital.
