EXPRESS IN SMASH.
ALBURY, Dec. I?.—The Sydney express figurnd in a thrilling crossing smash at i&ttamogah, six miles from Albury. The train, travelling at great speed, dashed into a reaper and binder being driven aicrous the line. The horses were clear of the line, and the driver, who was seated on the machine, jumped clear in time. 'the engine carried away the body of the machine, but lire pole broke and released the horses, which escaped.
