" The master of the schooner Holmwood, , from Wanganui to Newcastle, reportod that he sighted on December 12 an iipturnod wooden vessel, floating about 100 miles north-west of the north end of the North Island of New Zealand. ■■■ Jt is believed to be the missing ketch Lialeeta. %
The) ketch Lialeeta lias not been beard of since April 15. of this year, when she left the Semaphore, South Australia, after taking in stores. The vessel was inspected by the harbormaster of Launcaston on February 6, and he was of the opinion that she was well found. The Lialeeta was valued at £4OOO, and was insured for £IOOO. At the enquiry a letter was read from John Bell, loading hand on thu ketch, in which he' stated that the vessel leaked and had to be pumpsd every half-hour to keep her dry.
