For oveir three years there has been an agitation for the establishment of a junior high school in the Masterton district. Recently the matter was again vigorously sponsored by prominent educationists, but was deferred. It has now been taken up again, and at. a moating of the Wairorapa High School Board of 3 Governors a resolution wax unanimously carried that: "Having heard the statement of thfl Minister of Education at the break-up ceremony last week, the Board reaffirm its previous request that a 'Junior high school be odnMish.-d at Masterton, and requests . that the Minister and Director of Education will, on tho earliest, possible occasion, visit Maslerfoii to confer with a full meeting of representatives of educational institutions in and about.Masterton, and the parents of pupils with a view to reaching an agreement."
