At, the inquest, on William Davis, who died through taking strychnine in mistake for aspirin, disclosed that deceased and ft mate, Thomas McCuire, were suffering from the after effects of liquor, and were in a bad way. Davis died in a few minutes, and McGuire is making a comparatively good recovery, the acting-manager having liberally dosed him with salt and water until the doctor arrived.
