VICTORIAN PARLIAMENT. NEW TAXATION BILL PRESENTED PASSES ALL STAGES. (Received December 24,. 11 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Dec. 24. To overcome tho deadlock between tho Assembly and the Legislative Council tho Treasurer presented a new Income Tax Bill to the Assembly. He said the rates would be half those originally proposed, which would have .brought' in £287,000. leaving a surplus of £9OOO.

The Bill passed all stages of both Houses.
