AMERICANS URGED TO OPPOSE BOTH.
(Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) WASHINGTON, Dec. 22. President Green, in a letter to four million members of the American Federation of Labor, warns them against the menacing influence and pernicious practices of both Soviet Russia and Fascist Italy within the United States, declaring that “ Mussolini is not satisfied with tho power-, of a dictator in Italy, where the sword has taken tho place of reason, but has extended the tentacles of Fascist! to other countries.’ ’ Mr. Green warns the Italian members of the Federation and Italian residents generally of organisations being formed hero which discourage the naturalisation of Italians under threat of persecuting their families in Italy if they disobey. Americans generally are urged to oppose the Fascist jvropogauda as strongly as Communism.
