ROYAL SHOW.
RECENT CRITICISMS ANSWERED. ILL-FEELING SHOULD BE FORGOTTEN. “Last year there was some criticism of tlie Royal Show Held in the North Island by South Island exhibitors, and this year North Island exhibitors have criticised the show in Christchurch,” said the president of the Canterbury A. and P. Association (Mr James Deans) at a meeting in Christchurch of the general committee of the Association. , “We want healthy competition between the two Islands, not, criticism," he said. “It is essential for both Islands to work together if tho Roval Shows are to be made a success, and I hope that any feeling shown in the past will be forgotten. I hope,” lie added, “that the South Island will do all it can to make tho next North Island Show a success.”
