HEAVY LOSSES RECORDED
NEW YORK. Nov. 17. The price slide on the Stock Exchange was led today by Dupont de Nemours stock selling off 20 points down. U.S. Steel Corporation stuck closed at 145. General Motors, Chrysler and olliei recent fenders recorded heavy losses when call money rates advanced to 5 per cent., country banks calling for the return of funds used during the recent boom.
