Thu cheese market is firm. New Zealand is quoted at 106 s; Australian 102 s. FEILDING- SALE. (Per Pre6a Association.! FEILDING, last night. At the Feilding stock sale to-day a fair yarding of sheep came forward and was offered to a. large attendance of buyers. Lambs and* the best classes of ewes were in keen demand, and were quitted at prices well up to late rates. Fat sheep (except very best quality) were not keenly sought, several pens being passed in. A fairly large yarding nf cattle came forward, including a line of good Jersey springing heifers, which sold at fairly satisfactory .prices. Fat cattle were hard to quit, buyers standing off mainly on account of bad weather conditions, and a number of pens were passed in. LONDON FROZEN MEAT MARKET. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., have received the following cable from their London office, under date July 2: —Quotations; New Zealand prime crossbred lamb. At- a dispersal sale of Mr H. L. William’s Romney Marsh flock at Kaiwaiwai, Wnirnrapn, bidding for sheep was slow at times, but the average prices secured were satisfactory. One-shear cwe,s averaged' £3 4s 6d, two-shear £3 9s 9d, three-shear £2 11s 9d.\ four-shear £2 6s 4d, five-shear £2 6s, and ewe hoggets £2 Bs. The ram lambs were not sold as the prices offered did not come up to the vendor’s reserve. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their head office. London, under date July 2: —Butter: There is very little doing and the market is quite.
