Every girl will imagine herself doing the wild exotic things that Gloria Swanson does in “Manhandled,” her latest Paramount picture, showing at the Palace to-night. And in addition they will find beautiful clothes, beautiful settings, and a thrilling picture. Tom Moure is the leading man of “Manhandled.” and renders yeoman service in .support of Gloria. Swanson. She was a shop-girl—and life handed her a funny lesson, hv showing -her l hat. just as mordhandise sells at bargain prices from over-hamlling, so do women pay the price in reputation for the' same reason. But she had to ,pass through the experience before finally learning it—rich man, poor man, artist-, -real man ; all these were her tutors. Up and down the ladder of gowns, -creeds, and gallantries she went before she came to love. Such is the theme of this great Paramount production. The supporting programme will satisfy the most- hardened picture critic.
