MARAMA SAILS WITHOUT PASSENGERS.
VOLIJMNIA’S WHEAT CHARTER CANCELLED.
SYDNEY, April 20.
A crew was secured for the Maramn oif the understanding that they receive a month’s pay and a passage back to Sydney, as the ship is to, be laid up for overhaul on arrival at Wellington. No passenger’s will be carried, all having -been transferred to the Maheno. The Mamma- sailed for New Zealand at 8.30 p.m. ~The Volumnia’s wheat charter has been cancelled, and the vessel sailed direct for Singapore.
