The chief telegraph engineer (Mr A. ]•]. Kliriniplon) has fixed on Saturday night,.March 1.1, as the date on which the cut-over to the automatic telephone system will he made in Auckland. This will he the largest cutover yet made in New Zealand since automatic telephones were introduced.
