The owners of the Opnwa received a telegram from Pe.rim, staling that the fire in No. 3 hold in the ’tween decks is still serious, but is under control. Further damage lias been done, the cheese running to oil. The cargo is being removed. Considerable damage to cargo in Nos. 1 and 2 holds is probable. The refrigerated temperature is holding good, and the danger to these holds is primarily due to non-refrigeration of cargo. Part of tho trunk-ways in No. 3 hold have been destroyed.
