BOWLING TOURNAMENT.
CHAMPION FOCUS. The champion fours contest under the auspices of the Gisborne Bowling Centre was played on Hie kahutia green this afternoon, the Gisborne, Poverty Bay, Kahutia, and Tolnga Bay teams competing. There was a very good attendance at the rinks, the games bei.ng watched throughout with a great deal of interest. The weather was admirable for howling, and the condition of the green left little to be desired. The results of Ibis afternoon’s games were■ Kahutia Club: Power, Tier, Sawyer, and Wootton (skip) defeated Tola ga. Bay, Scott, C. E. Smith, Davison, and G. Neill (skip), by 28 to 13. < Gisborne: Iv. Ada'", Ormond. Stephenson and M. W. Craig (skip) beat Poverty Bay, D. G. Robertson, Somervell, Coutts, and Clreig (skip), by 28 to 14. The final between the Kalmtia and ■Gisborne teams was played off later.
