HAWKE CUP MATCH. (Per Press Association.) NELSON, this day. _ The Hawke Cup was concluded this mornjng in fine hut dull weather, Nelson winning by eight wickets. Continuing the overnight score of 1 for 60, Saxon and Fletcher added two, when the lastnamed went. Haycock assisted Saxon to (Hit- on the remaining runs. Saxon was at the wickets 220 minutes, and played ■a. splendid defensive game. The 'additional scores were: El etcher, 1.b.w.. b Holland, 11; Saxon (not out), 58; Haycock (not out), 24 ; extrasw, 12. Bowling: Holland, 1 for 42; Burke, 0 lor 41; Tronsoii. 1 for 16; Wood, 0 for 6; ’I readwell. 0 for 12.
