INTER-CLUB CONTEST

The annual inter-o!uh contest between thy Gisborne and Kaimiina Bowling Clubs will take •■>!ae e on Thursda- and Saturday next. Each club will be represented by ten rinks, five playing on Thursday on the Kahutia green, and five on Saturday on the Gisborne green. The following have been chosen to represent Kahutia :

GISBORNE CLUB.

Race week proved a, strong counterattraction, and in consequence, the;attendance suffered on Saturday. Those present, however, were rewarded 1 by an .excellent afternoon’s howls, both ' the weather and (lie playing surface being all that could he desired.
