GERMANY WANTS EQUALITY OF STATUS. (Reuter’s Telegram.) (Received Dec. 24. 10 a.in.) LONDON. Dec. 23. Germany, in reply to the League Coimoi! regarding entry to the League, makes adherence conditional on the concession to Germany of the right to decide regarding active, participation in the League in the event c<f punitive undertakings, in view of tho disproportionate state of a imam rots of European Powers. The annex Note reiterates Germany’s claims regarding equality of status in war and adds that Germany expects to bri admitted to the mandatory system of the, League in regard to the ex-German colonies.
