ANOTHER EXPEDITION TO ROSS SEA. (Received Nov. 7, 11 a.m.) • HOBART, Nov. 7. The whaler Sir James Clarko Ross made a short call at Hobart for the. purpose of .shipping twelve men, and left later for New Zealand.

The Secretary for Marine received advice that the Norwegian whaling vessel James Clarke Ross, which last summer made .an expedition to the Ross Sea lor whales, is due at Bluff next Saturday from Norway. The vessel will be met at Bluff by Captain G. Hooper (representing the Marine Department), the Commisionsr of Grown Lands, and the Bluff collector of Customs. The James Clarke Ross will then pick up the whale catchers at StewaTt Island an A will visit Port Chalmers before making another whaling expedition to the Ross Sea. Captain Hooper will not accompany the Yessol on this trip. '
