Bureau’s offer of assisted passages to Australia, to carpenters, bricklayers, plasterers, masons and plumbers, and the suggestion made that these' men should not be encouraged to emigrate, in view of the importance of the retention of skilled men for housebuilding, Mr. Dunn said he considered that interference was .unnecessary.
