A very pretty wedding yas celebrated at. the Holy Trinity Church, Gisborne, on July 30th, ylieti Dorothy, fourth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. T. Hhe.r wood, 'Manntuke.. was married l-t Wiliiam Roy, son of Mr. and Mrs. A M. Grey, of Makaralut. Canon Packt officiated. Her veil of embroidered tulle, arranged wit I a. coronet c'f pearls', ildoVned with orange blossoms. ami pretty bouquet of roses eoirip/Peted a -6harming toilette. l’b< bride was attended by Miss Myrtle Sherwood (her sister) and Miss Nell if Clark. The former wore an almond green sntih, trimmed with gold heads, arid a black picture hat, and the latter a pretty frock of lemon (georgette, arm picture’ hat. Both carried hearutifu. bouquets,. Lit-tle Miss Dorothy Hays, as flower girl, looked sweet in pale blue crepe-de-cliene and a dainty poked bon net, "Site carried a, basket of snowdrop; and sweet- peas. Mr. William Robb acted as best man. and Mr. Jack Newton as rn'oomsmnn. The bridegroom -s present to the bridesmaids were wristlet watches, and to the flower girl a bangle. After the ceremony the wedding break fast- was held at Findlay’s tea-rooms l.ater the happy couple left for the South on their honeymoon, carrying with tliem the best wishes of their many I fiendsThe bride’s travelling dress was a smart cinnamon brown ■garbadme costume. wAh a- pretty kingfisher blue h-at to match.
