The Daily Herald says that the Irish eon femme- lasted two hours. Mr. MacDonald and Mr. Thomas took the line that the fulfilment of the treaty was not a party matter but- involved the honor of the country. They put- the case for immediate legislation, but were unable to carry all the other- party leaders with them.
Mr.- MacDonald will introduce a Bill before the recess, but unless a further conference is more successful lie will not attempt- to pass the measure before the autumn session.
