Mr. Justice Lush, delivering judgment in the Parkinson title case, held that the contract- t-o obtain a title for contribution to -a charity was against public policy, and was therefore unlawful; but be had decided 1 to deprive Harrison of costs, on the ground that he had increased them by denying fraud, and for failure to enter the witness box and meet the allegations.
