SYDNEY. August JL A large gathering at the University ■ last night to hear a. lebture by Professor Adams. Emeritus Professor of Education at the University of London, 'was disappointed owing to an accident. He fell downstairs at the club. His injuries were slight, bat, as a precautionary * measure, lie was removed' to hospital. It is expected he will be able to resume his activities in a day or two. He leaves for New Zealand on August 18. Excavations for electric moans in the vicinity of the Town Hall disclosed’ a. number of coffins and' a quantity of human remains. The Town Hall site y was formerly a cemetery, which was closed in 1819, when supposedly the whole of the coffins wei'e removed to Rookwood. The present discoveries will be left undisturbed.
