GREAT DISTRIBUTION IN JAPAN

Twenty-six insurance companies have commenced the payment of ton per cent, on poliies held by losers in the earthquakes and fire. There are great crowds at each office. The distribution involves eighty million yen borrowed from the Government. Most of it will be immediately reinvested in permanent construction, for which permits a,re issuable on June Ist.
