EASTBOURNE HORROR.
POLICE SATISFIED AS TO IDENTITY OF VICTIM. (F.iec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) ;Australian siul j\.Z. Cable Association. (Received May 6,2 p.m.) LONDON, May 5. Detectives investigating the Eastbourne horror during the night- called up several vessels bound for South Africa, in consequence of information that Miss Kay twirl a> friend at the end of March she would soon he marrying and going to Africa.. She was fail*, with bobbed hair, and was fast seen, in the bungalow on April 12. Apparently (he inquiries wore resultless because after aft day long inquiries the police announced they were satisfied the victim, was Kay, whose occupation was a bookkeeper. The police are digging up the bungalow garden i in the hope of discovering the victim’s missing head. There is no. trace yet of tire darkhaired woman who also visited the bungalow, Patrick Mason, the detained man, is known to have a wife for whom the police are seeking.
