JAPAN'S TRADE OUTLOOK.
MARKED INCREASE IN INDUS TRIAL ACTIVITY.

Yejiro Clio. President of the Industrial Rank of Japan, interviewed, said the next two months would see a marked increase of industrial activity.
"Nevertheless." be stated, "the general recovery of industry is retarded by the high rates of interest. Stabilisation of the yen around- forty-two cents, however, enables manufacturers to compete successfully in neighboring markets. It is somewhat surprising that foreign capital is comparatively uninterested in Japanese private industrial stocks, which now yield' ten per cent., representing an increase of three per cent, above the preoarUiquake era. "It is probable Japan, within two years, will seek another large foreign loan, which probably will cause, adverse trade balances, which will gradually decrease permitting Japan ultimately to recover. - '
