LACK OF INTKHKST.
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night
The Olympic Council met to-night hut no quorum attendee. A winding up M'as suggested. Mr Davies, the chairman. said that the art union had gone too far. Mrs Driscoll, of Sydney, ottered to chaperone Miss Gwitlia Shand. The Auckland Boxing Association would, send a representative, but it was impossible to send 1 a rowing team. It was decided to continue the art union as suggested, but the Dominion must raise the money within 10 days or it m- i 11 he impossible to send Miss Shand. The Council found it impossible to raise £IBOO to send an Olympic team. The chairman said : “T have never before been connected with such a body as this in all mv life, and I hope I nevet will be again.’’
