HYPNOTIC TRAGEDY.
yijENljrA, Dec. 27.—Hypnotised by Professor Maximilian Sangster, noted mesmerist, during 'a. theatrical' performnffCf., a policeman of Sebenico starfod shooting jnto a crowd of spectators killing three and wounding ' several, hustled a number #f .others away <o /.he pclipo station. The*© be came out of his trance and was arrested qii a, charge of murder. The hypnotist was ajsp arrested. Newts of the strange tragedy was received her© to-day jn a despatch from Sebenico, which is a. town of 10.C00 people on the Adriatic Sea coast. Sangster advertised that he would perform feats of hypnotism hitherto unaitempted. This attracted large numbers of townsfolk to the theatre.
