TRANSMITS PHOTOS OR HANDWRITING. (Sydney Sun Special.) (Received Jan. 3, 9 a.m.) PARIS, Jan. 2. Belin’s teleautograph was put to its first commercial use. It will be possible from to-day to hand a photograph at the Paris post office for telegraphic transmission to Strasbourg and Lyons. Handwritten messages will also be delivered at their destination in fac simile.
