-Mystery surrounds the death, pf Abraham Jackson, aged 65, reputed wealthy, Whose body was found in the Thames at Rothcrhithe with the mark of a blow at the back of the. head. Jackson for many years lived at Bad dow, where ho was master of the JCiStex stag hounds. Ho left twelve y<nr v ago. His fortune then was about £50,000. For some re;ison unknown, lie relinquished the life of a country gentlemen and becamo a. (roclustyri leading a lonely life in the Grand-Hotel, Charing Cross, during the past two years.
