The Daily Chronicle states that tho Government is ordering the construction of three types of giant ail-metal passenger aeroplanes as a standard craft for tho Empire air routes, one type of single engine for use in trans-European aiarwayp, and other types equipped with three engines, each intended for Middle Bast airways. Tho Government's iniension is to bank up all parts of tho Em jure with a network of airways. The carrying capacity of the machines is indefinite. Tlie cruising range will be two thousand miles, and the speed one hundred miles an hour.
