Under the supervision of Mr. Griffiths (tho selector) the New Zealand team commenced training at Brighton yesterday. There is every indication that when the team takes the field it will provide n creditable exhibition. The day's programme* commences with physical drill, when members of the team rise about 7. About 10 training commences on the Domain fir the beach. Running and sprinting receive a fair share of attention. Scrumming and general tactics are, practised, and then the team returns about 12, to be massaged by a trainer after hot showers. Tho midday meal is followed by a series of games snob as cricket, tennis, or anything that encourages alertness of mind and body. The evening's are occupied by a. short entertainment. The players retire about 10.
