BRIAN McCLEARY.

STILL SLOWLY IMPROVING

[Special to the Herald.)

CHRISTCHURCH, this day

Art improvement was reported last evening in the condition of Brian McCleary, who has been an inmate of Lewisham Hospital since his fight with Tom Heeney on August 14. He spent a better day yesterday than hitherto, but his improvement is still slow, and it will be some little while before he can leave the hospital. In addition to a slight concussion he suffered injury in the region of the kidneys, and this is retarding his progress.
