(Received July 11, 9.15 a.m.) LONDON, July 10. While the city streets were most crowded with men and women leaving their oflices, a. pretty Irish girl, JoseO'Reilly, reeled, screaming, into Lomburd street from St. George's yard with a knife wound in her side.
In St. George's yard a young man was found lying with a wound above his heart. The girl was carried into Barday's Bank, whew she was employed, and afterwards taken to hospital, where sho was found to bo seriously hurt. She was unable to. make a coherent statement;
The man was named Rodney Gary, a clerk in the London County Council Ollices. Ho was only slightly hurt, lie had been seen talking to the girl. It is understod Gary wished to marry her, but she rejected his suit.
