DISPUTE WITH MINISTER.

WELLINGTON, this day. The local Presbyterian Church has another dispute with a minister on its hands. In consequence of certain action, the Rev. It. Vvood was warned by the General Assembly. On the ground that this warning was not complied with, the i'resoyiery declared its opinion that Mr. Woods' behavior called for a sovere censure, and cited him to appeal' before it. Mr. Wood wrote that, without admitting the jurisdiction, or that he had done anything unworthy of hia, position, ho undertook, for tho sake of the peace of tho Presbyterian Church, to oeaso what was termed his "Vendetta, against members and the Presbytery." He did not attend the meeting, and tho Presbytery passed a, resolution, "that though it could have proceeded to suspend him, if would accept, his undertaking, hut warned him that any further breach of the undertaking in his letter would be immediately followed by action;''
