DAVIS CUP CONTEST.

Mr. Castle, president of the Hawaiian Tennis Association, has sent a letter to the Australian tennis authorities asking them to re-consider their decision to play a Davis Cup match on the United States mainland. Mr. Castle asks that the match be played at Honolulu, but if this is not agreeable he suggests Seattle.
