DR. OLIVER'S STATEMENT.
ITo the Editor of the Herald.)
Sir,—Just a few lines of your valuable spate to see if Dr. Oliver or any of his satellites can explain the positipn. Dr. Oliver emphatically stated that the grim reaper, Death, had' followed on the tracks of those who had! differed! from his (Dr. Oliver's) views, and- that the deaths of several noted ministers had followed Dr. Oliver's visit. Again this "crack" American states the funeral train inevitably follows on his revivals. Now, sir, can this bold! American explain why affliction has fallen on one of his most favored lieutenants, or organisers, viz., Mr. T. Russell Cameron. The position to me seems, clear —no distinction is made by the Almighty either to followers of or differers from Dr. Oliver's opinions.—l am, etc., A NEUTRAL.
