Bailey,- tho-Coroner returned n verdict that- tho cause of death wag.-a fractured! skull received through being knocked down by the motor car being negligently driven by Bailey, who ignored l all notices, warning motorists against trams and excessive- speed. MAStKRTON, last night. While/ fording cattle through the Whareama, river this ,morning, C. N. Stilborn found the/ body of a. man, considerably decomposed, lyijtg in two feet of water.- Tliei botfjr, later, .was identified 1 . an that of Frank Marshall, 33, a returned soldier, who had been working in tho district for’ 18 months. Deceased had beer, missing since April 14.
