At the Church of Christ Conference, the Rev. W. Dawson, on behalf of tho New Zealand Alliance, expressed pleasure at being present amongst sueli earnest and determined workers for the cause.' The Alliance was determined that at next election tho people should have a straight-out vote. Mr. Dawson was assured. that the Church of Christ would dp its best for the cause. ‘ Reports were received from the church extension board literature committee and tlio New Zealand Chris tian. The old committees were re elected, with the exception of thetemperanpo and social questions, which was vested in tho Dunedin Church. The extension hoard was authorised to take up the matter of more -complete safeguard of th«; -Church’s property. The churches ’are to asked to place the whole of the properties under one board. '. ■■
