A meeting in the Domain, held under the auspices of the Protestant bodies and the Orange Lodge, protested against 'the inaction of the Commonwealth Government in respect of the Irish Republican envoys. An opposition meeting convened by the, Irish Self-Determination League, protested against attempts to stifle free speech. (Received April 3, 11.30 a.m.)
SYDNEY, April 3. The Irish envoys, speaking at Richmond, said the Free State was being kept alive by force. So long as it possessed big guns the little, guns would remain in the hands of the Republicans. O ’Kelly said he despised the clamor for the deportation of himsplf and Father O’Flanagan, also an attack by a Catholic newspaper, which allied itself with the Orange Lodges and Protestant Federation.
