Sir William Bird’s Bill to amend the Merchandise Marks Act prohibits imported moat unless indelibly marked with the name of the country of origin or bears the words “imported.” The import of eggs also ,is banned unless each is marked, also packages containing fruit, poultry, and 1 dairy produce. Sporting Life states that Oxford University is sending a Rugby football team to play Heidelberg University at Easter. /
