The Soviet authorities estimate that tho jewellery and valuables looted from the churches will yield Iwo hundred million gold roubles, of which five millions are being ajloenled for the purchase of seed for the famine, areas a.nd the remainder is. being utilised for "Stalo necessities." It has also been decided to .sell abroad tho Tsar's crowns and regalias, from, which it i.s hoped to realiso seventy millions hterling.
