AUCKLAND, last night. A little girl named Mona Paris, aged four years, died in the Auckland hospital as the result of being knocked down by a. motor-car. Tho deceased was returning from a. vaudeville performance in cure of her father when the accident occurred. Tho father had lifted the girl from a trum at the corner of Pitt street and Karangahape road, and was lifting down another child, when Mona wandered across the street and was knocked down by a motor-car.
