| PROMISING PROSPECTS. There is an element of romance in connection with the re-opening of a gold mine distanced about 50 miles from Blenheim. An Auckland mining expert has arrived in Wellington after inspectincr the mine on behalf of an Australian syndicate., which is taking over the property.
