Aflor (lie murder in January, 1919. if was impossible to trace the supposed murderer, who was believed to be Otto Range, an officer of one of Berlin’s free corps, which indulged in pogroms against the revolutionaries. Range, on Wednesday, under (he false name of Droll, asked for work at a Berlin labor exchange. 1 Some workmen recognised him, saying : “You murdered Rosa Luxembourg.” Drill 1 replied : “No, I only shot her.”
He attempted to escape, but the crowd pursued him, ripnod off his clothes, ami half lynched him. 110 was unconscious when (he police arrived, and is now in hospital seriously injured.
