DAMAGE TO HAWERA.
■STRIKES MOLE AT PATEA. (Per Press Association ) WANGANUI, tin’s day. The steamer I Taw via struck the mole when entering the Patea liver yesterday. and was seriously damaged. Site reache.l the wharf, leaking badly. Her side has been stove in. The steamer will he emptied and beached for temporary repairs.
