BANDITS HOLD UP TRAIN.
MASTER-MIND BELIEVED TO BE DIRECTING ROBBERIES. (Received February 26, 10.5 a.m.) NEW Y'ORK, February 25. According to a message from East Quincy, Illinois, four armed bandits held up the Chicago-Alton express, uncoupled the mail car, and rifled it of 125,C00 dollars. In view of the frequehey *of success of mail robberies the postal authorities are of opinion that there is - a mastermind, with an intimate knowledge of post office workings, directing the robberies. —A. and N.Z.C.A.
